Is it legal for a company like AAA to send out registered sex offenders?

Is it legal for a company like AAA to send out registered sex offenders to your home, place of business, or to you when your car breaks down on a lonely highway? To have your private information shared with someone who is classified by law enforcement agencies as a risk to the community's safety?
Is there a statute or law, can you send a link please?
 
They cannot check the status of every mechanic/tow truck driver in the country.

They look up where you are and call the nearest garage. The person that comes to your car does not work for AAA and they have no right to do a background check on him.

As far as I know they do not give him your personal information.
