Is it just me, or is weird what he wrote?

a friend wrote me a birthday message, on a card. we are house mates, but it doesnt feel like a friendship if you get my meaning. Once we kissed, but i made sure it never happened again. He kept giving me mixed signals, and when i confronted him, it turned out he still had feelings for someone else, or it was an excuse. I got over him very quick, and he was confused by this.

Any way in this card. he wrote, that we have had our ups and downs, but he has enjoyed every second of my company. that im a great housemate and worthy friend..and "what else can i say?"Then he put a picture up of us, with how similar we looked/ were from his wii game. I duno it just felt like he was trying overly hard to say that he saw me just as a friend. when there really was no need.

is it just me?

Well I think you shouldn't read to much in the card... I seems a bit on the metro man side with the whole picture ... And metro men are al very friendly and mushy.... or just maybe ask the poor dude!

ok i got to say,he dosent know how obvious he is, so he is tryin to make up an excuse to say he likes someone else. but i think he has some hard feeling for u.also, he maybe was hoping that u couldnt get over him, and he couldnt get over u.since he cant get over u though, he dosent want to appear like he cant move on, so maybe thats why he says he has someone else? but he totally likes u, im my opinion.
