...about various things in the physic? Is it just me or is nearly all the conversation at church amongst attendees about various things in the physical world (i.e. one’s latest financial success, a child’s win at a sporting event, etc.)? If there is such a significant interest in god/spiritual things, wouldn’t the conversations at church amongst attendees be far more spiritually based? Or does the nearly 100% physically based conversations indicate that church really is little to nothing more than a social club and not a place for the free exchange of spiritual ideas to actually learn something about spirituality? (Please do not give me the nt bible thing “forsake not the gathering together…”!!!) As a follow up question; what would church look like if it did allow logical questioning during sunday school and during the corporate service?
