Is it important to buy a laptop with Bluetooth ?

Hi all,
i wanna buy a new laptop and just asking if having a Bluetooth in that new laptop is "necessary"

i have a Bluetooth on my current laptop , but i don't remember i ever used it

seriously what are the main uses for Bluetooth ?

is there anything that can be connected with Bluetooth to the pc and cann't with USD 2.0 ?
 
No, it isn't necessary. Only used for transferring data from a device to another wire-less-ly but they need to be maximum 5-10ft away from each other. That can be very well be done with a USB connector, or a flash drive.Afew wireless mice need bluetooth but not all. Anyway, if you need BT anytime you can buy a Bluetooth chip or drive anytime.
