is it illegal to play shows outside (gigs) in NJ at a certain time?

the band im in, and a bunch of others are planning to play a gig outdoors at around 6 pm this friday and i heard its illegal to do so at a certain time. we're not selling tickets or anything, just for fun. help, is it illegal at a certain time???
