A friend of mine has a misdemeanor warrant in another state. Is there any possibility of me getting in legal trouble for him being in my car?
I AM NOT asking if it's likely, but if it's POSSIBLE. I need to know the exact legal code that I could get in trouble under, if any.
I was thinking that if I got pulled over it could be construed as harboring a fugitive, but I don't know the exact laws, if he's considered a fugitive in this state or just in the state he was busted in, etc. Before driving him anywhere I want to make sure that I'm not putting myself in any legal danger.
