i follow a lot of tv shows and i hate having to wait for the american shows to be shown on tv in ireland. is it illegal for me to download an episode of a tv show that someone over in america recorded off the tv?
im not talking about episodes that someone ripped from a dvd but someone recording from the tv and sharing them. is it illegal to download them?
the reason i ask is because i know movie downloading is illegal but if i record a tv show from tv at my house its grand so whats the difference in someone else recording a show from tv but just giving me a copy of it?
