recently, my neighbor (50 yrs old) intentionally attempted to combust the fuel tank of my vehicle with fireworks explosives. i had witnessed him directly facing my vehicle with his face and body and launching several fireworks underneath my vehicle's fuel tank. several fragments of the explosives were found underneath my vehicle's fuel tank and in the direct vacinity, with blast points directly under the fuel tank.
i called 911 and they sent officers. however, the officer wouldn't acknowledge my desire to prosecute my neighbor, because he referenced that the neighbor could say that it was an accident. no arrest was made on the basis that the aggressor would not likely confess to the crime.
