and with out consent? ok, i was recently arrested and the cops searched the house i pay rent on with out a search warrant, i asked to see the warrant as i was being arrested and they said they would provide me with a copy as soon as we went to the station. i fully cooperated with them and went to the station, the only copies i got was the warrant of my arrest and a copy of the charges that i was being charged with....and of course a copy of my 1st court appearance paper when i bonded out. but, they never gave me a copy of the search warrant. the people that live with me (sister, her kids, and my nephew) they never gave them consent to come in and search although the cops used threat tactics against my sister and nephew if they didn't give consent for them to come in and search the house...doesn't this make them in violation of the law or my rights?

also, i'm in the process of getting a lawyer, because i don't really feel safe with the public defender being that he works for the state ( same people that's trying to pin this bogus charge on me ). also, i know that if i go with the public defender he's going to want me to take some crappy plea and i feel that i'm not guilty and that's what i want to plead. i'm trying to gather up some money by selling my stuff, cause unfortunately i have no money to afford a good lawyer right now.

any input you can give would be appreciated, thanks
