Is it hectic to work for a financial advisor? what exactly should I expect.?

Iv'e just landed a job,i'm very excited but nervous at the same time.
Iam a very hard workin and dedicated towards what i set my mind on.
I will be working for a finacial advicer who deals with life cover,retirement planing,investments,homeloans by setting up appointments convincing clients to come and see him so as to close a deal.I dont have experince in this field.Could you please tell me what I should expect,Is it hectic?
