Hi all,
I recently learned how to ride a bike and now would like to make it my primary mode of transportation. I learned on a cruiser bike because that's what my friend had.
I live in a hilly area and plan on riding about 10 miles a day, so I am looking at used hybrid or commuter bikes on craigslist.
I am wondering if it is difficult to ride a hybrid or road bike after only using a cruiser? The thinner tires, multiple gears, and hand brake system scare me a bit.
I'd appreciate any insight/experience. Thanks!
