Is it hard to replace a parking cable in a 2004 Ford truck?

I have a 2004 F-350 Super Duty. Perhaps this information isn't important but it's a diesel, has a crew cab, and an eight foot bed. I "think" the cable end in the drivers compartment may have broken off (I think the front section of cable needs to be replaced). Is it hard to do and how would I go about doing it?
