is it hard to learn how to play piano(well actually its a yamaha keyboard)?...

Im 14 and I dont know how to read music and my dad got me a yamaha keyboard for christmas and I was just wondering how hard it is on a 1-10 scale to learn and to be "good" at it. Like I would atleast like to know by the end of the year how to play a song like teardrops on my guitar by taylor swift or something like that by the end of the year. How long do you think it would take me to learn a song like that based on me having no music experience at all? Thanks any tips would be appreciated
I think I want to be able to teach myself a little then maybe take a class during the summer.

it depends on how you learn and how musically talented you are. but good on you for trying, if you learn keyboard, all the other instruments will be alot easier to learn.
i'd say get lessons and try and learn jazz piano, because it's really alot more useful than classical, you learn about important stuff early on and it sets you up to be a better pianist...
