is it hard to change the fuel pump in a 96 dodge grand caravan?

Also....anyone know how much that would run to DIY and to take it somewhere? I am trying to weigh my options. But if its in the fuel tank....and more than a couple hundred to fix, I am just selling it. Thanks all!!
 
Yes all fuel injected engines have fuel pumps INSIDE the gas tank.

As for DYI, you should be VERY CAREFUL when working around gasoline and gas tanks.

If you decide to work on them

(1) work away from the house or buildings
(2) have fire extinguisher close by
(3) have second person near by - just in case YOU catch fire

As for the cost, that depends on where you live as labor is huge part of the cost.
