skate,ride a bike and ski? How about option 2? The 3 things that Mr C can do are skating, riding a bike and skiing. Which answer is correct? Why? Can you explain the rules of grammar why the particular answer is correct.

First case: you are talking about the act of skating, riding the bike or skiing and Mr C is allowed to do those things.

Second case: you are solely talking about Mr C's ability to skate, ride a bike or ski.
