erm...well if you payed of it, I don't see why you wouldn't eat as much as you can, I mean, isn't that the whole point of buffets anyways?

It discrimination. What if they only got a small amount the first time or are still hungry. It is only gluttony if the person goes back if they are not hungry. It should not matter about which sex they are.

No.

It's gluttony when they eat more than they need. Or when they eat when they're not hungry anymore. It has nothing to do with how many helpings they go for. And it has nothing to do with their gender.

When I go to a buffet with my husband, my hubby piles a HUGE amount on his plate. Like... a lot. I tend to try and make myself go back for more. So I get a small amount, then go back, small amount, go back... it's a way of making myself aware of how much I'm eating. It's like when someone has a pizza and puts 6 slices on their plate, while someone else takes one and goes back every time. The person with the 6 slices is more likely to eat more than the person who has to get up and go get another slice.

So stop being judgmental.

its just nonsense from older cultures, at this day and age, women and men pay the same amount so every deserves an equal right to the food ! gluttony is too strong a word.

The whole purpose of a buffet is to scarf down as much as you can for your $9.99 and then waddle on home and sleep it off.
