Is it frustrating to anyone else when people hunt and shoot game, then leave it?

I have always grown up being taught that if you shoot it, you eat it or you find some one else who will.

I mean there are a few exceptions to this, but still for the most part I think that this is a good rule to go by.

Personally i leave it there because if you come back a few days later there might be scavengers picking at it and thats when you shoot them 2.

I dig a pit in the ground and chuck the carcas in there along with what ever else i have shot.

Why would you wanna eat something that you have shot. would you eat a feral pig, cat or goat?
