...husband and wife work? but what if the husband usually works alot of over time and makes twice as much money... just wondering everyones opinion
 
No..they should share the household duties.

My wife told me she wanted to get away to some place new and exciting....I said try the Kitchen.
 
the money doesn't matter, the hours do. If I had a good man I loved who didn't cheat on me; I wouldn't care. I'd do it all. I swear to God I would. But well, I wouldn't marry him.
 
In my opinion he should clean alot during the weekends or his free time. Maybe get a day off from work occasionally, clean, laundry, restrooms, garden. etc. I think u should concentrate on the cooking part or show him, but definately make him do something during the weekends, he's able to....

lol idk i can do it, i used to come home from work, school, clean....
my sister would only worry about her cooking
 
Let's say you shared a house with people that's not your family. You pretty much have to clean after youself and also cook.
Even if you are married I do not believe that the wife should be stuck with all of the chores around the house. Just like the wife,kids and you all make a mess and should help out.

Since you work a bit over time it shouldn't be an excuse to not do anything. Put yourself in her shoes. Cleaning a hoyse every day,washing dishes,washign clothes, cooking and what not is so much work for only one person.
Therefore helping out or spliting the work is the solution.

The more hours makes a difference, but still it is not that big of a deal to do the dishes or run the vacuum or something if the other is busy doing something else. I have been doing those things since I was about 12. It is only a big deal if nobody does them. Team work . Of course you could make it fun ,maybe naked housework or something, doing the bedroom last.
