Is it even possible to keep a saltwater fish or anemone in a 2 gallon tank?

first of all 600 g is not comprable to a 2 gallon. it is possible if the anemone is a rock anemone and the clown fish will be unhappy. but ive seen fish kept for years in an old glass mayonase jar that was like 1 liter

Its false. You should get a 20 minimum to start saltwater and 55+ for fish. Heres a fish that might satisfy your salty taste: Dwarf Puffer.

I bought my 2 gallon saltwater tank today that I was going to use for coral frags. And when the employee saw me looking at the tank we began talking about it. Somewhere in the conversation she said people put anemones and clownfish in 2 gallon tanks, is that even possible to keep a happy anemone or clownfish? (I'm not interested in doing this, I already have 3 other large tanks) The employee (owner) has a 600 gallon reef tank in the store, so I think she knows what shes talking about. Anyways I was bored and just wanted to see if this was true, I believe it's false.
Thanks for all the answers so far, but I feel as if you guys are thinking I would want to do this and that I don't already have a saltwater tank. I have multiple anemones in my other tanks, I have no disire to even try to put an anemone or a fish in a 2 gallon tank. Just though I would post that, to let people know that I'm not going to try this. I just want some other opinions. Thanks and keep the answers comming.

i wouldnt suggest it. ananomes are sensitive and need a healthy cultured tank to survive. i have fake ananemoes and they are just as beautiful.

possible yes but practical no...

Anemones as im sure you know, need high lighting upgrades which is not fisable for a 2 gallon. Plus most anemones will need much much more room than 2 gallons.

Clownfish will be stunted in a 2 gallon but yes they can stay in there for a few days so i guess it is possible. But happy = no.
