Like, let's say I leave a backpack on a bench in a public place with some valuable stuff in it.
Some person steals it.
However, unbeknownst to him/her, there is actually a GPS inside the backpack, tracking him/her!
I call the police and they arrest that person.
Is that entrapment?
BTW, in case you haven't guessed, I really hate thieves and have sometimes thought of making a hobby out of busting them.
