I'm not being out of order to disabled people; I think its amazing that the UK has 82 medals, of which 38 are gold. I just wanted to know, is it easier to get a medal at the Paralympics, than it is at the Olympics?
From those answers, I'm going to jump to the conclusion that our UK athletes are just better than everyone elses ;)

GO UK!

I think everyone gets a fair chance.
If there was only the Olympics, most of the special people wouldn't really stand a chance against the athlete's in the Olympics.
So the paralympics gives them a chance to work with other people like them.
So it clearly depends on the Athletes.

why would it be easier, they are competing in the same events against people who are of similar ability to yourself

maybe UKs paralympians are just better than our olympians, they probably train harder because they more to prove

What a stupid question!! There is a first second third spot which has to be filled!!

Yes much easier i mean comon some of the things in the paralympics a 5 year old can do and get a medal

It depends on how disabled they are and plus they have to work really hard i just think they put loads of effort in it

There are more medals available in the Paralympics, for Example in the Olympics, there is just one 100m final, but in the Paralympics, there is more because of all the disabilities people have.

More people tend to win multiple Golds at the Paralympics though.
