Is it disrespectful to interrupt a tv show with emergency announcement?

The producers paid million of dollars to air their tv show... paid million of dollars to produced a tv show.

I don't understand why Obama and news investigation (on Ronni Chasen) have to interrupt tv show...

It isn't really emergency anyway...
