Is it difficult to pass your driver's permit test?

I've gotten multiple answers on both sides and I kinda want to know straight up. I live in vegas and I've gotten friends who said it was a breeze and know others who've passed it and I've gotten a friend who said it's okay and knew some who failed it. On top of that, my mom tells me she failed her the first time and tells me that I shouldn't waste my time. I'm taking my test this weekend and just wanna know what is what. I'm read through the booklet word for word and have hi-lighted stuff and and re-reading it a second and possibly a third or fourth time and maybe re-writing important info to retain it as much as possible. So, I just wanna know how it is from experienced test takers.

The permit test was easy for me...I passed the first time with flying colors. What you are doing now to prepare for the test is good but it is nothing to stress about. Just make sure you read through all ur material and u should do just fine.
