Is it difficult to do well in a biology major if I haven't taken any AP science...

...classes in High School? I have taken AP courses in english and different history classes and have taken earth science, bio, chem, phy, a semester in forensic science and human anatomy as well as calculus. I got A's in the science classes (except forensics, phy, and anatomy b/c i have not completed them yet) but I haven't had the opportunity to take AP science classes and I am afraid that the college classes will be too difficult if i major in bio. Plus I was wondering if anyone could give me some in depth details about the type of research and labs a bio student would have to complete.

I wouldn't worry about it. Lots of schools don't offer any AP classes, so they cannot hold that against you. The most important thing is that you are taking the most challenging classes available to you, and it seems like you are doing that! If you are getting A's, you are right on track to be a successful Bio student.
