Is it dangerous to put art up on Deviantart?

ummm...so i posted a story on fictionpress, only to find it could never be published. crap. im thinking about putting art on deviantart, but im afraid something will tell me that i can never use it in anything or idk...but is it dangerous to put art up on deviantart? can keep it from being downloaded? don't get me wrong, im not saying im that good, but u k?
 
I would say put watermark on all of your art. This keeps thieves from 'copy and pasting' or downloading. You could also block people from downloading your art with the 'submitting' options there are on DeviantArt. I think DeviantArt is a very safe site. There are some very friendly people on it and will watch out for art thieves and schemers.
