I have a 2008 Honda Accord LX-P with a 2.4L I-4 engine that requires 4.4qts of oil according to the user's manual. When fill the engine up with about 4.5qts of oil and check the dipstick, the oil only reaches the low point of the dipstick. I ended up using the entire 5qt bottle which put the oil level near the max point on the dipstick, but still not quite touching it.
Has anyone else ever experienced this? Is this normal? I do not have any leaks or anything and I am on a fairly level surface. I also run the engine for a couple of minutes before I check the oil levels.
