In the era of texting/Facebook, I find it rude that when I approach someone it takes several beats for them to turn and acknowledge I'm standing there. Its texting! They won't see you stop and talk to me for a second.
My husband ignored me this morning. I approached him and said hey. He was texting. I continued to just stand waiting. He never turned his head. I left to get ready for work. Later I complained. He said he did not "hear" me. But he he could see me! He said I should have spoken again - he thought I was just standing there. DOH. Just standing by the side of the bed not speaking for one minute.
