Is it cheating if the relashionship isn't exactly official?

This guy I'm trying to get to know asked me out to the movies. He kissed me at the end but I didn't think he enjoyed the date because I didn't enjoy it that much. Anyway after the date the sent me an e-mail and told me how how fun he had, that he really likes me as a girlfriend and that he loves me with xoxoox and hearts o.O
Then I went on vacation and to visit family for two weeks. On his msn he wrote " (my name) ily" and on facebook he wrote "I'm so happy your back babe I miss you <3". Then I found out that he was making out with another girl who I've seen around at school while I was away. I heard it was his ex. But when I got back he asked me to be his girlfriend.
Was he cheating?

but anyway, a guy with these actions is a cheater (most of the time)
I mean when a guy is really in love with a girl , he cant even look at another one, he wont see anything pretty or beautiful in this world except her

so he didnt technically cheat on you

i don't think it was exactly cheating, but he wasn't being faithful either. it depends on how it happened with him and the other girl, but he might have had a weak point and just went along with it. kissing isn't the biggest worry in the world either. i would ask him about it, but be casual. act like it doesn't bother you and you're just curious. if he's a good guy he'll let you know. take it and move on (:
 
Pretty much. If he really did have feelings for you he wouldn't do that. Plus the whole "ily" and "I'm so happy you're back babe" stuff is kind of weird since you weren't actually going out. It's still weird to me when people say I love you so casually, but whatever I guess.
 
totally yes.he was being dishonest by playin u and her at the same time. he's probably just tryin to get into ur undies,sorry. he can't be trusted.dump him
 
Can't be cheating if you aren't dating although it was pretty classless. He may have just been getting in his last chance at random makeouts before being committed. Keep an eye on him/her though. There are obviously still feelings there
