is it cheaper to buy individual hair color products at sally's or just buy hair

dye boxes? i feel so stupid wasting so much money on hair box dyes ..... but at the same time if i buy everything at sally's separate wouldn't it be more expensive but at the same time you would have more hair color left....lately i been just coloring my hair all different colors ..seeing which i like
