Is it better to learn the Adobe Creative suite software from books or YouTube Tutorials?

I've completed an Associate degree course in Communication design. I've learnt to use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Flash, Dreamweaver and After Effects. When people ask me can I use Photoshop? The answer is actually "No." I feel so bad, studied for 2 years and like know nothing about Photoshop :( And for others, I can say I only have beginner to intermediate level.

Now I want to be serious about this, I want to tutor myself to learn those software in spare time and I want to learn in a beginner level way. My question is, should I find tutorials in YouTube? Or, buy a book to learn? I think it's easier to learn from YouTube tutorials but the bad thing is very hard to find those videos from Lesson 1, 3, 4... in order. For books, I'm afraid it's hard to follow and it costs a lot of money cos I want Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Flash, Dreamweaver = 5 books :o

So what do you recommend? YouTube or books? Any good recommendations if books?
