Is it better performance to get a higher class micro sd with 2.2?

I haven't got 2.2 froyo yet I have a samsung vibrant and I have a G1 with apps2sd class 6 rooted of course I was just wondering since the apps run off the sd card in 2.2 will the faster card make the apps run with better performance ?

Yes, it will. If you put a class 2 in there, you will see the difference immediately. It only apply for apps on sd thou. Not all app can/should be on sd.
