I was visiting my mom, my brother is 38 and heard him saying to my Mom,,he probably would be married if he lived in Albania because he lives and was raised in a poor hispanic area of NYC and cant meet anybody, he then said he would probably have kids by now if he lived in albania and the reason hes in this situatuion of being not married is because he lives in a spanish area.
We are albanian but both my parents and me and him were born in America, .... My brother makes 200 K a year -has no expenses but chooses to live at home in a bad area with my Mom and sits down and says whiney things like this..
I wanted very badly to scream "Stop whining, go move to good area and start changing your life, why are you whining, do something"?
Instead i closed my door and just tuned him out, i told him years ago to move and he screams at me says "ARE YOU CRAZY NOT TILL IM MARRIED"
So am i doing the right thing by shutting up and keeping distance from him?
i think hes a total loser to even say things like that to my mother, instead of saying how hes going to improve his life hes basically telling her its her fault hes living in a bad area when hes 38 yrs old
