I really dislike writing poems w/rhymes because I have to sit there and think about what rhymes w/what. I like to let it flow from my thoughts and I just write it down. What do you think and why?
Here's one of my poems
Erasing you out of my mind
You dwell in mind
Like a painful memory
I remember the day we met
The first time we held hands
Our first kiss
I also remember how you broke my heart
How you took me for granted
You never saw the pain in my eyes when you hurt me
I would have given the world
To you I wasn’t even worth a cup of coffee
You thought our break up was a joke
Even though it was one of the hardest things that I have ever done
So unemotional when I cut you out of my life
Like the last two months never happened
As though I never mattered to you
I want to erase the memory of you
Pretend like it never happened
Forget all the memories
My heart will heal and I will find someone who deserves my love
