...up about a centimeter? Alright so i have a 1999 Dodge Stratus ES 2.4L and just put in my new Secret Weapon R air intake. the intake is the one made for my car (year,model,engine) and everything matches. In fact i have seen another that had the same intake installed. anyways so the piping is clear from the hood but the filter is not. The filter lifts my hood on the very right(left from in the car) about a centimeter. obviously it lowers the opposite end the same amount. my hood locks in place doesn't wiggle or anything. also the the filter is down to the point where its is barley not touching the the car on the bottom which makes it touch the hood... is this really that back since the manufacturer did stress not having the filter touch anything. Also does anyone have any ideas on how to re-position it to maybe fit better. thanks in advance for youir replies.
Is it bad that my air intake filter is a little to big and causes my hood to be pushed..
