Is it bad that i've had sex before, but never been in love?

I've had sex with someone who i was dating after only 2 months. and before i had told him no, but for some reason it felt right at the moment.. i don't know why i did it. were not together anymore, and he was the only one i've had sex with. but i find it kind of pathetic that i couldn't wait to loose my virginity with someone who loved me, it's not only that but i really never have been in love with anyone.. no one really understands..
