I am hosting an event with 25 people attending. They will be served a very nice buffet style meal. they have an option of two salads, fruit, three vegetables, two meats and two desserts.
Hors d'Oeuvres are for cocktail party's. Where everyone is standing and milling about with a drink. Buffets, people will have large plates and sit. No hors d'oerves/
