Is it an entitlement for liberals to have 100% control of the news media?

The liberal media is a myth!!!!
Years ago, Republican party chair Rich Bond explained that conservatives' frequent denunciations of ‘liberal bias’ in the media were part of ‘a strategy’. Comparing journalists to referees in a sports match, Bond explained: ‘If you watch any great coach, what they try to do is “work the refs.” Maybe the ref will cut you a little slack next time.’
Scott McCllelan even said that the corporate media was not liberal.
How much longer can this preposterous myth be sustained when even the White House Spokesman not only mocks the phrase but derides the media for being "too deferential" to the right-wing Government "in regard to the most important decision facing the nation during his years in Washington"?

The media is no more liberal than the conglomerates that own them, and the huge corporations that advertise on them.

From Walter Cronkite to Fox News, that long, long period of time may have conditioned some people to believe news reporting, favoring the left, is the norm. The long term domination of liberal news reporting could be considered to be normal & objective, "left" is the "center".

The angry from the left over Fox, is hard for cons to understand. Fox does actually allow 2 points of view to be aired, where the mainstream liberals media allows close to 0% of opposing viewpoints.

For a conservative news reporter trying to make a career at NBC, MNBC, CBS, CNN, ABC, NY Times, there would be no chance for moving up the ladder to get higher level jobs, most likely would never be hired or fired the moment its known they don't carry the socialist flag.

Do liberals believe they are entitled to have 100% of the media, favoring liberalism?

The far right views the mainstream media as "liberal" when the reality is that it is middle of the road, like most Americans.

As far as the talking head commentator shows (both left and right)- they are entertainment, one sided, and should be viewed as such. They represent one man's or woman's opinion, nothing more.

Most of America understands this.
