Is it alright to eat after Exercise?

Hi, what i mean is, is it okay to eat(you know a regular meal) after exercise, because that's what i did today, and i was wondering if that was going to get all the stuff i burned back, or something, i drank 2 glasses of water, about a cup of noodles and half cup of oats, is this okay? Do i need stop doing this? if i do anyway to keep me from doing this after my exercise? Any Help?!
