Is it against the law or the board heath for your employer to make you share headsets?

I work at a call center and I often see people using the restrooms without washing there hands. We also have some people that have sauriosis where they skin flakes. Well our GM got this bright idea to strap our headsets to the desks that we all share. More and more people are getting sick, I just wanted to know what I could do about it! thanks guys
