Is it against etiquette to smoke a pipe in a cigar store's smoke lounge?

I just started smoking pipe tobacco and I'm pretty ignorant to smoking culture in general, but I relish a good smoke lounge conversation. I don't know if I want to smoke cigars too often since the pipe's just so cost effective and cigars are a whole other thing to get into.
