I am a 22 year old male and have been regularly eating fast food all of my life. I am very active physically and intellectually and enjoy a comfortable life. After recent blood tests I have been found to be exceptionally healthy. The only down side is that I am a little under weight. I am 5'8" and weigh about 135lbs. Am I a mutant or is fast food really not that unhealthy for you? To give you a gauge, I'll say that I often eat McDonald's and Taco Bell.
Ok... I will admit that if anything, my cholesterol was a little low, along with my blood pressure.
Personally, in my beleif it is perfectly fine that I am eating fast food because it complements my health nicely. I'm not eating it for every meal and I take multi-vitamins. I think that if I stopped eating fast food I won't be getting enough fat and sodium in my diet, or even enough nutrients. My opinion is that people like to overexaggerate the effects of fast food on the body and point to lazy and gluttonous people for proof. Am I just delusional?
