Is it a good idea to take College Algebra and Pre Cal together?

I doubt that the school would even allow you to do that since Pre-calculus is basically Algebra 3 and College Algebra is like Algebra 2 if one were in high school. If they'd let you take them together then I wouldn't recommend it because Pre-cal requires a semi-vast working knowledge of algebra that you would require in college algebra. You could take pre-cal without college algebra but only if you have a solid background in math. If you have a good background in math and are fairly good at it and have an interest then pre-cal is the way you probably want to go, but if you find that you struggle in math then go with college algebra and take pre-cal next term.
