I just found a old school that has been closed for more than 10 years. It's all empty. The windows is cover of plywood, I found one door at rear that are not even close and lock. Can I go in that school and play basketball in that gym? I am not even sure who own property, public or private own, maybe even belong to bank or sheriff sale. Is it legal or not?

It just like if you walk at backyard of your house, you may walk a little farther off from your land. You may found a tree house that has not been use for years. Can you go in and play card game in it? Who knows what those tree house belong to.

Just like if you found a black top basketball courts at middle of no where, you may go ahead play basketball on it. How it different than the old school? Is it different law for empty blacktop courts with no wall and roof and a old gym school with wall and roof?

There is no sign say keep out or no trespassing so it give you rights and free to walk anywhere.
