is ischemic colitis an illness that can be cured?

I am a 44 yr old female, I have recently been diagnosed with Ischemic Colitis during an colonoscopy. I also had a diagnosis of C-Diff. I have been on antibiotics for the past 2 weeks for the C-Diff. I am very scared and would like to know if anyone has had my same experience and has had the Ischemic leave for good. I am going to a different GI Dr. she is one of the bests in Oregon. I really am excited for having a Dr. that cares and wants to get me better via surgery or whatever it takes. I would love any imput or suggestions
