...test came up negative? I have had my tubes tied and have heard that there is still a chance to get pregnant. Last month I was three weeks late on getting my period and took a home pregnancy test that came up negative. This month I didn't get my period and for the last two weeks I have felt like I have a baby moving around inside me. It feels like I am getting kicked and I feel flutters like butterflies. I have had three children and it feels like when I was pregnant with them. I went to the doctors and took another urine test and that test came out negative as well. Is it still possible with all these odds to still be pregnant? Is there a certain time in pregnancy that an urine test has to show positive if you are pregnant? If I am not pregnant then what am I feeling? I know that it is not gas or hunger pains. I am a little confused right now and don't know what to think.

the likelyhood of your being pregnant is very slim. I mean you shouldn't be prego since you were tied. and two pregnancy tests have come out negative. I think you are imagining things. your hormones are probably just screwed up and that is why your period was late.
sorry hun i don't think your pregnant. even if you were preg you wouldn't feel your baby move that early. a pregnancy test can pick up whether your preg from 10 days after sex or the day of your first missed period so if both tests came back neg its very very unlikely that your pregnant.

Well, as you know, though we can forget....you wouldnt feel any movement, flutters or kicking for months. It is possible to get pregnant after you tie your tubes, like up to 2 weeks after only, though there are rare cases women get pregnant months or years after tying their tubes. The only test that can confirm pregnancy when a you get a negative urine test is a blood test.
Because your body just had something different done to it (tying of tubes) it can be the reason to the absent periods.
Sometimes when a women wants to be pregnant, and might think she is, she can start to believe she is having symtoms. You might want to tell your doctor how you are feeling and let him do a ultra sound, because it could be something else in there.

You can get pregnant after tubal ligation but the chance is very slim. I know of a person who became pregnant after tube ligation. It was a shock to everyone.lol But If the tests keep on coming negative, then you are most likely not pregnant.
