is is possible to love like the characters in twilight do?

I was wondering if it was possible for 2 people to love each other like the main characters in twilight do. (Isabella Swan and Edward Cullen) And I'm not thinking about Edward being a vampire. Just is it possible to have that kind of relationship with a human
 
If only he is strong enough not to bite her then can they love each other.
