Is is possible for me to loose wait just by doing exercises in my bedroom?

Hi, I am an overweight guy, about 260lbs, and 22 years old. I decided to at least try to loose some weight. However I am too embarrassed to go running outside or go to the gym because of my poor abilities.
Is there anyway I can loose enough weight, like say 20lbs, just by exercising in my bedroom? I will be consistent and do it overnight and I have enough space in my bedroom to do exercises that take up a lot of space.
If it is possible, can you tell me what a plan would be? How long should I go, what type of thing, how many reps.
I know this is a lot to ask, but I'm in a rut.
