Is Iraqi cursed, and is that why they have such a bloody history?

Some people who have returned from Iraq have said that the soil of that country is infact RED, not brown but RED in some parts its completly red like human blood.

So do you think Iraqi history is cursed and will always be mired with suffering, bibilical punishements, brutal tyrants, wars, no matter what anyone does?

I mean after all the lords punishement of Sodom and Gomorroh for homosexuality ended up these two cities being smited of the surface of the earth?

The hanging gardens of babylon? The garden of paradise? The resting place of Noahs ark? Abrahams birth and ten commandments.

Of the Mongol invasions that resulted in millions of brutal kilings from central Asian hordes? Continuous religious shism between Sunni and Shia Islam, wars, invasions and then came Saddams tyrany and then the American occupation which has not been any better?

So do you think that land is "hexed" and will always be wrought with terrible afflication?

I mean at the moment they have high hopes that the US is leaving and things will get better. But surely thats when these murdering scumbag terrosirts will come out of the wood work and make Northern Irelands sectarian problems like a picnic.

Then we'll get the Saudis, Kuwaits (YES our so called allys) supporting their Arab Sunni faction being pitted against the Iran and Syrias Shia militias in Iraq and the result will be innocent civilians being caught up in this awful fray

So are we preparing for an even worse bloodletting? if the US leaves Iraq now.

Iraqi is pretty screwed up. Don't forget that God sent Jonah to Nineva (now Nineva Province, Iraq) because Nineva was the worst of the worst in the Middle East. Even the Koran says that Iraq is the land of liars and thieves.

And BTW, there are actually very few nations that can claim a history as royally ate up as Iraq's.
