Is HUNTING consider a sport?

"Note : This is not a debate on whether it should or shouldnt be sport due to the slaughtering of animal" Okay , i got a project and i have to create a story with the theme "sport" . I got an idea related to Hunting , but im afraid that it isnt a sport but i found "hunting" on the list of sports . So can anyone enlighten on whether Hunting is a sport or not ?
