Maybe human sexuality does get brought out into the light of public scrutiny occasionally, but the only times this occurs is when the crimes of some sexual miscreant get attention from the media. But the crimes of some sexual miscreant are only a very small part of the overall human sexuality, right? Would it better for society if the entire human sexuality was brought out into the light? Does religion prevent this from happening because religious people try to sweep the issue of human sexuality under the carpet because they insist that humans are not animals with animalistic instincts; they insist humans are some kind of magical beings made by an invisible god (superstitious nonsense)?
